Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. The contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by English Law, and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of English courts. 1) How is the reservation made? The booking is pencilled due to agreements made electronically between both parties. Snipp Events Limited will confirm the booking by sending you a completed invoice with these terms and conditions enclosed. Please check the invoice thoroughly and if there are any errors or omissions tell us immediately as any changes made at a later date may incur a charge. 2) Is the price guaranteed? The price shown on the invoice is fully guaranteed provided conditions of payment are adhered to. The price shown is a reflection of the services agreed initially, so any changes hereafter to the service may incur additional charges. If Snipp Events limited offers reduced price services at any other time you will not be valid for these reductions. 3) What deposits need to be made and how can they be paid? A non refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the singer/singers for that day and is payable by cheque made out to Snipp Events Limited or via the BACS details listed on the invoice 4) What happens if you do not pay the deposit? If a deposit is not received the availability of the singer/singers cannot be guaranteed. If another booking comes in for that day/days you will be informed and the booking may be removed and you risk losing the dates you require. If Snipp Events Limited receives more than one deposit for the same day he reserves the right to choose one and return the deposit of the other. 5) How and when do we pay the full amount? On receiving the invoice for the deposit, an invoice for the remaining amount will be attached. Full payment for the function must reach Snipp Events Limited no later than 14 days prior to the function. If the full payment does not reach us by this time, Snipp Events Limited reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. 6) What is included in the price? For the agreed price, Snipp Events Limited agrees to provide everything detailed in the invoice. The contents of the entertainment are determined by Snipp Events Limited and any changes can be made at its discretion up until the start of the show. You can make requests to which he has the sole decision on whether to include or exclude from the set. 7) What if we have to cancel the booking? Snipp Events Limited reserves the rights to cancel the booking, whilst he will endeavour not to do so except in circumstances beyond his control. If he is no longer able to provide the service originally booked, he will endeavour to provide an equivalent of comparable standard with little or no disruption to you. If the service has to be cancelled altogether, any deposits paid will be refunded with immediate effect. 8) What if you have to cancel the booking? If you wish to cancel the booking, this must be done so in writing either electronically or by post. The effective date for the cancellation is the date we receive that at our offices. A cancellation charge will be levied at: More than 14 days = loss of deposit, Less than 14 days = 50% of total booking. 9) What is Snipp Events Limited liable for? Snipp Events Limited accepts responsibility for the acts and/or omissions its his team whilst acting in the scope of employment to yourselves. He also accepts responsibility for any deficiencies in the service he is contractually obligated to provide or the failure of that service to reach a suitable standard. 10) What is Snipp Events Limited not liable for? Snipp Events Limited accepts no responsibility for any aspect of your event affected by matters over which we have no control. Unless otherwise stated he is not liable for any technical matter of the show e.g. microphones, speakers etc, or anything else they have not provided. 11) What are our requirements? With all functions involving a meal, a room to change with refreshments will be required. Any other extra requirements (e.g. sound, petrol or flights etc) will be sent with this contract. 12) Food For functions with accommodation a hot meal will be required, for the functions without a light meal will be required.
